Malik Saric is an organization design and development consultant and operations leader. His passion is building communities at work that operate with purpose and efficiency.
He is trained in the Kates Kesler organization design methodology and has worked with Google, Kohls, AOL, Minds Matter, and MAC. He was a research contributor to Jim Detert’s book “Choosing Courage” (2021). His focus is helping organizations excel through the interaction of people and process, supported by clear roles and responsibilities, incentives, and culture.
Malik also served as the Operations Manager for Brooklyn Grange, the leading rooftop farming and intensive green roofing business in the US, improving workflow management, systematizing processes, and managing client relationships in the service of a more beautiful, green New York City.
He began his career with Teach for America, teaching 9th-grade English in a largely Spanish-speaking community in California’s Bay Area. There he learned to lead with love, to accept his shortcomings with grace, and grow through reflection.
Malik’s motto is “To go far is to go together.” His skills include connecting people to their work, managing difficult relationships, and strategizing under pressure.
He is a graduate of Cornell University and has a master’s degree from Loyola University. He is proficient in Spanish. His interests include garden-to-table cooking, Premier League soccer, and chess.
